At the Voice of God International Church, our leadership team is committed to serving God, guiding the church, and equipping believers to grow in their faith. We believe leadership is not about position, but about serving others with humility, integrity, and vision.
Pastor Girma Bateno
He is the founder and esteemed leader of Voice of God International Church.
He has dedicated 26 years to serving Christ globally. His fervent devotion to Jesus, rooted in Ethiopia, has flourished through diverse ministries. He ministered in Kenya for ten years, faithfully sharing the Good News, before following a divine calling to Canada, where he established Voice of God International Church and has continued to serve for the past eleven years. He is a devoted husband to Pastor Hiwot Moges and a father to their four children ages 11 to 24.
Pastor Hiwot Moges
She is the founder and esteemed leader of Voice of God International Church.
She has dedicated 24 years to serving Christ around the world. She is deeply committed to teaching new disciples to obey all the commands of Jesus.
She has a passion for connecting with people and encouraging the next generation. She leads the women’s ministry and is actively involved in family and marriage counseling, as well as premarital teaching. She is also known for her unwavering prayer life.
She is a devoted wife to Pastor Girma Bateno and a loving mother to their four children, ages 11 to 24.
Bishop Rick Mootoo
He is originally from Guyana. He serves as the Bishop and General Superintendent of the Pentecostal Holiness Church of Canada, and is also the pastor of Grace Tabernacle Church in Toronto.
Voice of God International Church is part of the Pentecostal Holiness Church of Canada, and Bishop Mootoo serves as a member of its Board of Directors.
Temesghen Bezuayehu
He is originally from Ethiopia. He is a devoted husband and father of three children. He serves as a board member and treasurer at Voice of God International Church.
Professionally, he is an engineer and a manager of infrastructure project management.
He serves God and the Church passionately. His love for Christ and devotion make him a unique member of our church.
Pastor Yonathan Bateno
Yonatan is a passionate youth pastor devoted to evangelism and reaching the lost. With a deep love for God and for people, he is committed to helping young people encounter Christ and live out their faith with boldness and purpose.
